Coast Cages is a family owned and operated business. Walter Beidleman is the owner/president, and CEO, and Scott eidleman is vice president in charge of customer service, warehouse and shipping. We purchased Steiner Cages in 1983. Before getting into the manufacturing side of the pet business, we had the largest pet store in all of Orange County called the Pet Factory. Because of our experience with our own pet store, we found the lack of good, high quality animal cages. It is our goal to change this trend. |
There are so many Chinese cages that you have to assemble yourself, or are made of cheap materials, such as plastic or thin cheap wire, we felt the need for more quality. All of our cages are of one piece solid construction. There is nothing to put together. We use thick gauge American steel, and galvanized plated sheet steel. They are all hand welded by professional welders and metal fabricators. Our shop consists of every machine necessary for metal fabrication. All of the jigs (the pattern plates used to hold the wire in place for welding) are made one at a time by hand, and are checked every 3 months for any defects. Each cage is made by hand and inspected three times before leaving our facility. All of our cages are non toxic and powder coated for the longest lasting, brightest finish possible. All of the modifications and changes made to our cages, are the direct results of customer feedback.
It has taken many years of changing and modifying, but the end result is the best cages on the market today.
