Small Animal Cages

There are basically 4 different types of rodent cages. Glass aquariums, plastic tube cages, cheap Chinese cage, and Coast Cages. Others have to be assemble by yourself, but not ours. With glass and plastic there is little to no ventilation for the animal, which makes the smell unbearable. Also, these cages can be chewed up, and chunks of rubber and plastic can be life threatening. Cleaning is another big issue with these cages. Urine and feces build up in the tubes and get stuck to the glass and plastic, which can lead to infections, and is generally unhealthy for the animal. The Chinese cages are very unsafe due to the fact that there are break points where an animal can get stuck or trapped when trying to find a way out. All of our cages are open for maximum air flow and ventilation.
