Dear Gentle Persons,

A few weeks ago, a small parakeet flew into the apartment of one of my neighbors. He flew right into a fan (ouch!) ! Anyway, he hung out there for a couple of days- one under the bed after the run-in with the fan. She put up a note, and I adopted the bird. I went to the Magnolia Bird Farm to get supplies and a cage. I just knew I would end up with a Chinese tin-box, and got a pleasant surprise. I just wanted to tell you how happy I was to find your beautiful cage, made right here in America! The bird is now hanging from the ceiling on the 16th floor of a building in Santa Monica. He's next to a window and has a million dollar view. May you prosper and thrive.

Hi! Just want to drop you a line and let you know how satisfied I am with the cages I recently purchased from Coast Cages. I bought two 5-story rat mansions and two 2-story hamster condos. The cages come fully assembled-all I had to do was put the cage on the base and fasten the safety clamps, add bedding, food, and critters! The cages have ample room-I can easily have five female rats in one mansion and three males without having to worry about them being crowded. The girls love their wheel-they never seem to stop running in it. Sometimes two will be in the wheel together! The boys on the other hand, well, they are quite a bit lazier than the girls-I don't know if they will ever use the wheel except for napping-lol!! The hamster condos are actually being used by gerbils-they love their new homes! I think the gerbies love running up and down the little ladder the most!!! It wont be long before I'll be ordering a few more rat mansions. Two of the rescue ratties I adopted turned out to be pregnant!! As soon as the babies get big enough they will be getting rat mansions of their own!! And the best thing of all? The cages are made in America with all American parts! What could be better than that! Thanks for making such a great product!

I just want you to know that I am so happy with our new Rat Mansion (RC-7) although the kids call it a palace. Our rats were in a aquarium for almost a year and so uncomfortable when they are getting so big. It was hot in there I am sure, they only had a plastic bowl to sit on and both hung over the sides. I have looked and searched for a new home and found many that could have been used. When I investigated yours it was far from the standard "rat or whatever would fit cage" This cage was designed for a rat(s) and they love it! The one piece construction makes it study and easy to move, the rounded edges are so nice you don't catch your clothes or scratch your body parts! We have it on a desk and the kids can reach in and be level with the animals. They are not hovering above trying to catch them - the rats can see them and know what is happening. The top door is very convenient for me to use as well. You can reach in and pet them - they even stick their noses out of the cage now. I put old towels on the 4th and 5th floor and they love the softness. AND the best part if you go away you can have someone else feed them through the outside access to the feed cups (my mother in law hates rodents but is fascinated if she doesn't have to put her hand in the cage, last trip she dropped the water bottle in the aquarium and she had to OH MY reach in and retrieve the bottle!!!) It is a no brainer to have a six inch pan at the bottom it is great. I was really surprised to learn they go to the bottom of the cage to take care of their business and come back upstairs to groom themselves again. Maybe a mirror is the next accessory?Ha!

Thanks again for the great product!!!
